Do not take sildenafil or tadalafil if you use nitrates for chest pain, such as nitroglycerin, or a guanylate cyclase stimulator such as riociguat; the combination can cause a sudden, unsafe drop in blood pressure. Stop and get medical help right away for an erection lasting more than four hours, or a sudden loss of vision or hearing. Alpha-blockers and some blood-pressure medicines can add to the blood-pressure effect. The most common side effects are headache, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, back pain, muscle aches and dizziness. These are prescription medicines, and an independent Florida-licensed physician decides whether one is appropriate for you.
