What the hCG label covers
Label facts only. The physician decides what applies to you.
Human chorionic gonadotropin, hCG, is a hormone medication available as an FDA-approved prescription product. Its label lists a small number of conditions, including selected cases of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism in men.1
Within a TRT program, a physician may consider hCG for reasons the label does not list. That is an individual clinical decision, made during monitoring and explained to you.
| Question | Detail |
|---|---|
| Approved use | A short list of labeled conditions |
| In TRT care | The physician’s individual decision |
| Who dispenses | A licensed partner pharmacy |
| Where it starts | A TRT consultation and your labs |
Why men ask about hCG at Atlas HRT
Six common questions, and how this service answers each one.
“Who decides?”
An independent Florida-licensed physician, for your case alone, during monitoring.
“Is it a standard step in TRT?”
No. The label does not list TRT, so any use there is an individual clinical decision.
“What will it cost?”
It is priced only if prescribed, and confirmed with you before you pay.
“Does testosterone affect fertility?”
It can lower sperm count, so family plans are weighed before and during treatment.
“Do I need to be on TRT already?”
It starts with a TRT consultation and your labs, whether or not you are already on treatment.
“Is it FDA-approved?”
Yes. hCG is an FDA-approved prescription medication with a short list of labeled conditions.
When hCG comes up

The physician may discuss it if you

- ✓ Have labs the physician wants to follow
- ✓ Are an adult man in Florida for the consultation
hCG is not a fit if you have

- • A goal of weight loss, which it is not approved for
- • No TRT consultation yet

What the hCG label says
From the FDA-approved prescribing information. None of it is a promise about your outcome.
The hCG label lists prepubertal cryptorchidism, selected cases of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism in men, and the induction of ovulation in selected women.1
The label also states that hCG has not been shown to be effective for weight loss.1
Any use within TRT care is outside the label list, and the physician explains the reasoning for your case.
